We seek through this article, to identify the most important sources of citation on which the intermediate dictionary was based in building its texts, and the most important characteristic of its quantitative and qualitative approach, by counting and describing the citations contained in the Alif section; in order to draw conclusions about the reality of the use of illustrative citations in the Intermediate Dictionary and identify its most important sources.
