The lead author of the paper has the right to appeal the decisions of the journal’s editorial board within a period not exceeding two months from the date of receipt of the decision. To appeal, the author is required to submit a letter explaining the reason and presenting the arguments in detail.
The letter is directed either through the journal’s electronic submission system or by sending an email directly to the editorial office. The author must provide convincing arguments in support of his appeal, including explaining the reasons for disagreeing with the previous decision and providing specific responses to any comments that contributed to the decision.
In addition, the author must provide evidence of technical errors in the reviewer’s assessment, as well as any conflict of interest that could affect the fairness of the assessment. Any additional information that may be relevant and contribute to the reconsideration of the decision may also be provided.
After submitting the appeal, the paper is reviewed by the journal’s editorial board, and a new editor may be appointed to re-review it. The author must respect the decision of the board after reviewing the appeal, so that all decisions related to the appeal are final.
