ATALLAH BOUKHIRA
In this research, we try to review the pillars of the historical dictionary of August Fischer (lexicon material - arrangement of entries - explanation and definition), and how he applied his approach to them in his manufacture of the historical dictionary. The arrangement of the entries is essential in dictionaries because without the arrangement, searching in the dictionary would be difficult, and explanation and definition are among the goals of the dictionary, as it is a means to clarify the meanings of words.
