This research details the question particles, those tools that perform semantic functions that are clear through their meanings and their uses within question sentences. They have also an important structural function; It is the cohesion, whether it is between linguistic elements within the question sentence or between the question sentence and its answer. One of the properties of these tools is that they ask about unknown words, which must be mentioned in the answer of sentences. That particles have syntactic positions within the answer sentences not the question words which have the syntactic positions. Thus, I recommend to regard question paticles as mere tools that have a stylistic dimension and are not names whose syntactic position must be determined.
