The most important of this research phenomenon is to talk about the phenomenon of defining the term linguistics, and to address its concept and the importance of the obstacles that accompany it, in order to reach a greater extent to some results and solutions. General terminology is the key and foundation of science, especially the term linguistics, which is the focus of modern and contemporary linguistics studies. We chose Al-Munjaz Alifi by Abdul Salam Al-Masadi, “The Book of Linguistics Dictionary with a Purification of Terminology by Abdul Salam Al-Masadi.” Who made a serious attempt to assimilate the modern Western linguistic lesson, trying to root it in Arabic linguistic research through several foundations and methods for developing a term, focusing on the mechanism of Arabization. Which has a prominent role in supporting the linguistic lesson.
